Shinchan missing from Hungama TV

UPDATE: Shinchan is back on Hungama TV… CLICK HERE to read more about it…

I am sure everyone has heard of SHINCHAN - the most naughty school kid… And many of you must have been enjoyed this fantastic cartoon on Hungama TV in India. I was asked to see this cartoon series. It so happened that I once visited my sister and she suggested me to watch this cartoon series. She claimed that this one was quite enjoyable and relaxing. Especially the dubbed Hindi voice of Shinchan… It is so innocent yet witty that you simply can’t forget it.

After I returned, I accidently bumped into this cartton series on one fine evening on Hungama TV, and my goodness… I couldn’t control my laughing while viewing it. Shinchan has been quite entertaining so much that I never missed any single episode of this series in last 6 months! I especially loved the back-to-back 6-hours treat on Saturdays… Mindblowing, cute, innocent, witty, naughty, nuasance, sweet, lovable… there is no end to it.

However, since last so many days, I have not seen Shinchan being aired on Hungama TV… :( Does anyone know what’s happening? I am really missing my share of Shinchan entertainment… I am feeling like being deprived of my favorite entertainment… Can someone please tell me when I would be able to see Shinchan back? Hungama TV - are you guys listening?

History of Shinchan (Just for my readers)

Shinchan (also known as Crayon Shin-chan) first appeared in a Japanese weekly magazine called Weekly Manga Action, which is published by Futabasha. The anime Crayon Shin-chan has been on TV Asahi since April 13, 1992, and has also been aired by Cartoon Network, the anime television network, Animax across Japan, Hungama TV in India, and in several other countries worldwide. Many of the jokes in the series stem from Shin-chan’s occasionally weird, unnatural and inappropriate use of language, as well as from his inappropriate behavior. (Source: Wikipedia)

:) Are you missing fun? Check it out on Hungama site… :)

UPDATE: Now there is an official (!!!) communication published on Hindustan Times. I am so addicted to Shinchan that I simply can’t imagine life without watching Shinchan… I have started Signature Campaign to get back Shinchan on Indian Television. So guys & gals, youngsters & adults who love Shinchan — start posting your comments…. Let’s commit ourselves to get our favourite Shinchan back!!!

    Hi Sharat,

Thanks for sharing the links. It is really disappointing that Shinchan has been abruptly discontinued from Hungama TV… The reasons are absolutely baseless and stupid. I am convinced that the I & B Ministry need to be more bold and liberal…
