Mumbai High Court gags Google again for abusive blogs

Mumbai cardiologist moves the Hon’ble High Court after coming across defamatory (blogger) blogs; seeks Rs 10 lakh as damage from Google!

Hosting of defamatory blogs has come under the court scanner for the second time this year, with Bombay High Court last week restraining Google from hosting a defamatory blog against Mumbai-based cardiologist Dr Ashwin Mehta, director of cardiology, Jaslok Hospital. The HC had, in October, restrained the website from carrying defamatory blogs against a journalist.
